Shuman Plastics Inc. has developed a broad-purpose purging compound suited to a variety of processing conditions in injection and blow molding, extrusion and compounding.
Dyna-Purge D2 relies on an advanced, triple-action scrubbing formulation that allows purging in a wide temperature range, the company’s Dyna-Purge division reports. Schuman of Depew, N.Y., claims the new product can take on tough jobs that don’t respond well to other commercial purging compounds.
Shuman states a study shows the new purger is more effective than abrasive and chemical compounds, allowing faster cleaning and less downtime. It can be used without mixing or adjusting processing equipment. With a temperature range of 350 degrees F to 626 degrees F, it can reliable purge most resins, according to Dyna-Purge. | |
